State Institute of Hotel management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition (SIHMCT&AN) was established by Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB), Govt. of Uttarakhand in 2015 in New Tehri, Uttarakhand. The institute is running under registered State Government Society no. 162/2014-2015, started its first session from July, 2015. The society comprises Secretary-Tourism, Govt. of Uttarakhand as a Chairperson, Principal-SIHMCT&AN, New Tehri as a Member Secretary and 10 other members.
